Berkeley HeartLab needed a better way to cast slides for their cardiovascular research and testing.

Mr. Plastics' machining department worked with Berkeley engineers and scientists to develop this chamber.

This is not a prototype, but a working machine.

Constructing the chamber from clear acrylic was necessary because the entire casting process needs visual checking.

Mr. Plastics specializes in fixtures and tools for medical companies in the US and Europe.
